- 50% Non-refundable deposit at the time of the booking. The outstanding balance is due 60 days prior to guest arrival.
- 100% of the Total Confirmed Price is payable up-front for bookings made less than 60 days prior to arrival.
Provisional reservations will be held for a period of 48 hours only, after which the reservation will be automatically released. If the above payments are not received, we will not be able to confirm the booking. We will be entitled to cancel the booking should payments not be received before/upon the due dates. The booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited.
We require a non refundable deposit of 50% rental to confirm the booking/reservation for bookings made more than 2 months in advance of arrival.
You will be refunded any additional payments made if you cancel 60 – 45 days prior to arrival.
You will waive 100% of payments made if you cancel 45 days or less prior to arrival.
All reasonable attempts to find a replacement booking will be made. Should we secure a booking any revenue will be put towards your full booking value and any balance you have already paid, in excess of this value will be returned to you.
In the event of cancellation due to the death or hospitalization of a person for whose benefit the reservation was made, the full amount paid to date of cancellation will be returned should sufficient proof be submitted.
Covid Lockdown Related:
In the event of COVID-19 lockdown regulations legally preventing a guest from being able to travel to the cottage and thus legally preventing a visit from taking place due to travel restrictions, we will refund all monies paid to date. Should the lockdown regulation be instituted during the stay for a commencement date during the stay, which necessitates through legal requirement for the guest to vacate the premises earlier, the guest will be refunded the balance of their rental, pro rata fron the date of vacating the premises, or the lockdown commencement date (whichever is later) less the cleaning fee.
