Getting Here
By Car
We are located on the N2 highway between George and Wilderness, approximately 7km from Wilderness village. Look for the Kaaimans River bridge on the N2 — the parking area is on the dirt road just off the N2 on the eastern side of the bridge.
Parking
Park in the beach parcking lot on the dirt road diagonally opposite the cottage. Parking is free and generally available except during peak season midday arrivals when it can get busy — if you arrive and there is no space, wait a short while and a spot will open up. Do not leave valuables visible in your vehicle. In over 50 years of family use we have never experienced a break-in, but common sense applies.
River Crossing
The cottage is only accessible by boat. Once parked, make your way to the river bank and call or WhatsApp us — your caretaker Rasta will come across to fetch you and your luggage by rowing boat. Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance so we can make sure someone is available to meet you.
